Founded in 1981 by Chairman, Bob Collins, the company has strong ties with Liverpool and the Merseyside area. Today the business is operated by Kevin Collins who was appointed Managing Director in March 2010 & Michael Collins who is Operations Director.

In 1985 CB Transport Refrigeration were approached by Carrier Transicold to act as their agents in the North West. This partnership proved to be an extremely successful one and Carrier appointed CB as their Service Partner in September 1986, a relationship which has matured and become extremely strong over the years. 

CB Transport Refrigeration remain the longest serving Carrier dealership in the UK, both companies remaining at the leading edge of transport refrigeration technology.

The company has now evolved as a major player in the “Carrier Transicold Independent Service Network” and has adopted the trading title of: “Carrier Transicold Northwest”

Establishing the original workshop facility at Aintree in 1983 the company has recently relocated to what is considered to be the finest facility in the Industry, at Collins House Overbrook Lane, Knowsley, Merseyside.

The company’s reputation is synonymous with high levels of service and customer satisfaction. CB Transport Refrigeration has become a strong driving force behind Van, Truck and Trailer refrigeration and air conditioning service and repair throughout the whole of the Northwest of England and North Wales.

The company was founded in 1981 and our core business for the first 20 years was Transport Refrigeration, however during the last 10 years we have diversified and grown the business and our services now include the service & repair of all types of refrigeration; air conditioning & renewable technologies.
